Ojeda González, Francisco

Ojeda González, Francisco
b. 1955, Sanlúcar de Barrameda
After his alternativa in 1979, Paco Ojeda seemed destined for rapid obscurity until his career revived remarkably in 1982. For more than a decade subsequently, he enjoyed a huge following in Spain and France. Criticized by a minority of aficionados, Ojeda's profound, static style has been the most influential in changing bullfighting in the past thirty years. He began performing as a rejoneador in 1996.
